Section 15-1109 of the environmental conservation law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 7 to read as follows: 3 7. The department shall designate a representative for each environ- 4 mental region of the state to serve as the point of contact for munici- 5 palities located in each such region to aid in the acquisition of 6 resources and funding for water projects. 7 § 2.
