       AN ACT to authorize the dormitory authority of the state of New York  to
         sell  certain  land in the county of Queens to the Indian Cultural and
         Community Center, Inc.
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Notwithstanding  the  provisions  of any other law to the
    2  contrary, the dormitory authority of the state of  New  York,  upon  the
    3  consent  of the commissioner of mental health, is authorized to sell and
    4  convey to the Indian Cultural and Community Center, Inc. the  parcel  of
    5  land  situated  in the City of New York, Borough of Queens, State of New
    6  York, constituting  a  portion  of  the  Creedmoor  Psychiatric  Center,
    7  specifically described as follows:
    8    Beginning  at  a point intersection of the Northerly line and Easterly
    9  line of the south  (of  Union  Turnpike)  campus  Creedmoor  Psychiatric
   10  Center,  which  point  being situate at the point of intersection of the
   11  Southerly margin of Union Turnpike and South Westerly  margin  of  243rd
   12  Street,  thence  measured  through  the boundaries and land of Creedmoor
   13  Psychiatric Center the following courses:
   14    1. Along a line N 49 30' 38" W on South Easterly direction a  distance
   15  of 44.26 feet

   17    2. Along a line S64 19'30" W on South Westerly direction a distance of
   18  69.27 feet
   19    Thence
   20    3. Along a line S13 27'42" E on South Easterly direction a distance of
   21  82.45 feet

    5    (C)  Along a line North 63 degrees, 44 minutes, 5 seconds, measured in
    6  a North Westerly direction a distance of 21.4 feet;
    7    And Thence runs from the said point of beginning along:
    8    (a) a line North 06 degrees, 04 minutes, 47 seconds West measured on a
    9  South Easterly direction a distance of 78.4 feet
   10    Thence
   11    (b) to a point along a line South 83 degrees, 56 minutes,  18  seconds
   12  West measured on a South Westerly direction a distance of 87.7 feet
   13    Thence
   14    (c)  to  a point along a line North 06 degrees, 05 minutes, 10 seconds
   15  west measured on a North Westerly direction a distance of 78.5 feet
   16    Thence
   17    (d) to a point along a line North 83 degrees, 57 minutes,  24  seconds
   18  east  measured on a North Easterly direction a distance of 88.00 Feet to
   19  the point of Beginning.
   20    S 2. The dormitory authority of the state of New York is authorized to
   21  fix and determine the terms and conditions, including consideration,  of
   22  the conveyance authorized by section one of this act.
   23    S  3.  The  description  located  in  section  one  of this act is not
   24  intended to be a legal description, but is intended only to identify the
   25  premises to be conveyed. As a condition of purchase, the Indian Cultural
   26  and Community Center, Inc. shall submit to the  dormitory  authority  of
   27  the  state  of New York for approval, an accurate survey and description
   28  of the lands generally described in section one of this act,  which  may
   29  be used in the conveyance thereof.
   30    S 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
