       AN ACT to authorize approval of certain transportation contracts of  the
         Dansville central school district
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and  taken
    2  or  caused  to be had and taken by the Dansville central school district
    3  and by all officers, employees or agents of such school district  relat-
    4  ing  to  or  in  connection  with  transportation  contracts C270724 and
    5  C270725 for the 2012-2013 school year with Livingston-Wyoming  ARC,  and
    6  all  acts  incidental  thereto are hereby legalized, validated, ratified
    7  and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with  the  contract
    8  award, approval, and filing provisions of the education law, the general
    9  municipal law or any other law or any other statutory authority, rule or
   10  regulations,  other  than those filing provisions defined in paragraph a
   11  of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the education law,  in  relation  to
   12  any omission, error, defect, irregularity or illegality in such proceed-
   13  ing had and taken.
   14    S  2.  The  education  department  is  hereby directed to consider the
   15  aforementioned contracts for transportation  aid  as  valid  and  proper
   16  obligations of the Dansville central school district.
   17    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
