        AN ACT to amend  the  education  law,  in  relation  to  aid  to  school
          districts educating Native American pupils

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraph b of subdivision 2 of section 4115 of the  educa-
     2  tion law is amended by adding a new subparagraph 3 to read as follows:
     3    (3) For any school year beginning on or after July first, two thousand
     4  twenty-two, such amounts shall be paid to the school district within one
     5  hundred  eighty  days  of  the  date  that the number of Native American
     6  pupils educated by the district is determined by the department.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
