        Introduced  by  Sen.  STEC  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

        AN ACT to authorize an expedited application review process for  certain
          health  care professionals licensed to practice in other jurisdictions
          to practice in this state in  connection  with  Double  H  Ranch;  and
          providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any  inconsistent  provision  of  law,  any
     2  person who is licensed or certified to practice as a physician in anoth-
     3  er state or territory, who is in good standing in such state or territo-
     4  ry,  and  who  has  a written agreement to provide medical services with
     5  Double H Ranch in the town of Lake Luzerne between  June  11,  2024  and
     6  August  14,  2024,  shall  receive  expedited  licensure review upon the
     7  filing of an application pursuant to article one hundred  thirty-one  of
     8  the  education  law. All application fees shall be waived for such indi-
     9  viduals.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
    11  deemed repealed one year after such date.
