BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| Section 1. That section 6301.10 of the Revised Code be | 7 |
|
amended to read as follows: | 8 |
| Sec. 6301.10. (A) Beginning January 1, 2001, and each | 9 |
|
calendar
quarter thereafter, the director of job and family | 10 |
|
services shall prepare
a report concerning the state of Ohio's | 11 |
|
workforce. The
director shall distribute the report to the | 12 |
|
president and minority leader of
the senate, the
speaker and | 13 |
|
minority leader of the house of representatives, the state | 14 |
|
workforce policy
board, the governor's office of Appalachian Ohio, | 15 |
|
and the
commission on African-American males. | 16 |
| (B) By December 31, 2009, and by the end of each calendar | 17 |
|
year thereafter, the director of job and family services shall | 18 |
|
distribute to the president and minority leader of the senate and | 19 |
|
to the speaker and minority leader of the house of representatives | 20 |
|
a copy of the workforce investment act annual report that is | 21 |
|
submitted to the United States department of labor pursuant to | 22 |
|
section 136(d) of the "Workforce Investment Act of 1998," 112 | 23 |
|
Stat. 999, 29 U.S.C.A. 2871(d). | 24 |
| Section 2. That existing section 6301.10 of the Revised Code | 25 |
|
is hereby repealed. | 26 |
