| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Senator Nina Turner for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout her distinguished tenure as a member of the Ohio Senate, Nina Turner has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing her duties and fulfilling her responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. Representing the 25th District, she has ably served as a member of the Commerce and Labor, Education, Insurance and Financial Institutions, and Transportation committees and the Education Finance Subcommittee, and she has brought her talents and experience to bear on the ever-changing needs and issues of the Ohio General Assembly; and |
| WHEREAS, Nina Turner has given willingly of her time and energy far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in our society. Her love for Ohio and her sincere desire to serve its people to the best of her ability have shown her to be a truly concerned and responsible public servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the efforts of conscientious individuals such as she that our state and nation continue to grow and prosper; and |
| WHEREAS, Election to public office is one of the highest honors that the people in a democracy can bestow upon a fellow citizen. Throughout her service as a member of the Ohio Senate, Nina Turner has consistently maintained a high degree of achievement and has displayed a level of integrity and commitment that has earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. Whether engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, she has brought a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit to her duties and has effectively served her constituents and the Great State of Ohio; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Senator Nina Turner on her exemplary service to the Ohio Senate and extend best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it further |
