Requires Department of Education and school districts to post
on website certain information related to collective bargaining
agreements of school districts.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to school district collective bargaining agreements.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 243.650 to 243.782. + }
SECTION 2. { + For each school district with a collective
bargaining agreement, the following shall be posted on the
Department of Education website and, if available, the school
district website:
(1) A copy of the collective bargaining agreement;
(2) A summary of the provisions of the collective bargaining
agreement; and
(3) A description of any changes from the previous collective
bargaining agreement. + }
SECTION 3. { + The requirement of section 2 (3) of this 2011
Act, related to a description of changes from a previous
collective bargaining agreement, applies only to changes made on
or after the effective date of this 2011 Act. + }
