Prohibits power transmission lines with capacity of 400,000 volts or greater on land zoned for exclusive farm use. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to transmission lines on land zoned for exclusive farm use; amending ORS 215.438. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. ORS 215.438 is amended to read: 215.438. { + (1) A power transmission line with a capacity of 400,000 volts or greater is not an allowable use on land zoned for exclusive farm use. (2) + }The governing body of a county or its designate may allow a transmission tower over 200 feet in height to be established in any zone subject to reasonable conditions imposed by the governing body or its designate. ----------
