                             SUMMARY

  Authorizes dentist licensed to practice dentistry in this state
to administer injections of botulinum toxin to face or neck of
person.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to injections of botulinum toxin.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2013 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 679. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + (1) A dentist licensed to practice dentistry in
this state may administer an injection of botulinum toxin to the
face or neck of a person if, prior to administering the injection
of botulinum toxin, the dentist:
  (a) Obtains the current health history of the person; and
  (b) Establishes a patient record in accordance with rules
adopted by the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
  (2) The board shall adopt rules to implement the provisions of
this section. + }
