AN ACT
Designating a portion of State Route 145 in Northampton and <--
Lehigh Counties as the Battle of the Bulge Veterans Memorial
Highway.
Amending the act of December 18, 2007 (P.L.464, No.71) entitled <--
"An act designating a portion of State Route 145 in
Northampton County as the Battle of the Bulge Veterans
Memorial Highway," further providing for the Battle of the
Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Battle of the Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway. <--
(a) Designation.--State Route 145 in Lehigh Township,
Northampton County, from the intersection of Long Lane Road
southward to the intersection of U.S. Route 22, Whitehall
Township, Lehigh County, is hereby designated as the Battle of
the Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway.
(b) PennDOT signs.--The Department of Transportation shall
erect signs at appropriate locations to designate the section of
highway described under subsection (a) as the Battle of the
Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway.
Section 1. The title and section 1(a) of the act of December <--
18, 2007 (P.L.464, No.71) entitled "An act designating a portion
of State Route 145 in Northampton County as the Battle of the
Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway," are amended to read:
AN ACT
Designating a portion of State Route 145 in Northampton [County]
and Lehigh Counties as the Battle of the Bulge Veterans
Memorial Highway.
Section 1. Battle of the Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway.
(a) Designation.--State Route 145 in [Lehigh] Whitehall
Township, [Northampton] Lehigh County, from the intersection of
[Long Lane Road] US Route 22 northward to the intersection of
Main Street in the Borough of Walnutport, Northampton County, is
hereby designated as the Battle of the Bulge Veterans Memorial
Highway.
