AN ACT

Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in optional affordable housing

3

funding, further providing for affordable housing programs

4

fee in cities of first class.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 6021(b) of Title 53 of the Pennsylvania

8

Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

9

§ 6021.  Affordable housing programs fee in cities of first

10

class.

11

(b)  Limitation.--The fee levied by a governing body of a

13

city of the first class under subsection (a) shall not exceed

14

100% of the amounts charged by a city of the first class for

15

recording deeds and mortgages and other related documents [on

16

January 31, 2005].

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
