AN ACT

Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, in gaming, further providing for general and

specific powers of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1202(b)(9) of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

§ 1202.  General and specific powers.

(b)  Specific powers.--The board shall have the specific

11

power and duty:

(9)  To require background investigations on applicants,

14

licensees, principals, key employees or permittees under the

15

jurisdiction of the board. No licensee may obtain a contract

16

or commence work at a licensed facility prior to the

17

completion of a background investigation.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
