| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, providing for a special license plate for |
3 | recipients of the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Bronze Star |
4 | for Valor. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
8 | Statutes is amended by adding sections to read: |
9 | § 1366. Special plates for recipients of Silver Star. |
10 | Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the |
11 | Silver Star, accompanied by a fee of $10 which shall be in |
12 | addition to the annual registration fee and by such |
13 | documentation as the department shall require, the department |
14 | shall issue to the person a special registration plate |
15 | designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a person who |

2 | plate may be used only on a passenger car or truck with a |
3 | registered gross weight of not more than 10,000 pounds. |
4 | § 1367. Special plates for recipients of Bronze Star. |
5 | Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the |
6 | Bronze Star, accompanied by a fee of $20 which shall be in |
7 | addition to the annual registration fee and by such |
8 | documentation as the department shall require, the department |
9 | shall issue to the person a special registration plate |
10 | designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a person who |
11 | is a recipient of the Bronze Star. The special registration |
12 | plate may be used only on a passenger car or truck with a |
13 | registered gross weight of not more than 10,000 pounds. |
14 | § 1368. Special plates for recipient of Bronze Star for Valor. |
15 | Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the |
16 | Bronze Star for Valor, accompanied by a fee of $10 which shall |
17 | be in addition to the annual registration fee and by such |
18 | documentation as the department shall require, the department |
19 | shall issue to the person a special registration plate |
20 | designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a person who |
21 | is a recipient of the Bronze Star for Valor. The special |
22 | registration plate may be used only on a passenger car or truck |
23 | with a registered gross weight of not more than 10,000 pounds. |
24 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 120 days. | <-- |
