AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, in financial responsibility, further providing for

exclusion from benefits.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1718 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8

§ 1718.  Exclusion from benefits.

9

(d)  Liability to innocent third parties.--An insurer may not

11

exclude benefits to, or deny coverage for damage to property of,

12

an innocent third party who sustains a loss caused by the

13

conduct of the insured while the insured commits a felony.

14

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
