No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to conduct a feasibility study relating to central vote counting stations and to prepare a report for the Legislature on the results of the study. It is assumed that any costs related this study could be absorbed within existing resources.
