IN RE:
HB3898 by Martinez (Relating to establishing a pilot program to employ a life skills counselor and establish a life skills circle to assess certain student behavior at public high school campuses in certain counties.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

This bill would require certain districts to employ a life skills counselor but does not appropriate funding for these positions. Districts would be permitted to solicit and accept a gift, grant, or donation from any source. However, if a district is not able to obtain a gift, grant, or donation, the district would be required to pay for the positions with existing funds.
