IN RE: |
HB81 by Harrison (Relating to informed consent before the provision of certain medical treatments involving COVID-19 vaccination.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
According to the Department of State Health Services, Health and Human Services Commission, and the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
The Texas Medical Board assumes a potential impact because of possible increases in complaints and investigations. The Texas Medical Board cannot estimate the number of complaints it may receive and is unable to predict the complexity of the complaints and investigations which affects the fiscal impact on the agency.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
