No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would expand the conduct constituting the Class A misdemeanor offense of unlawfully transferring certain weapons to include knowingly purchasing a magazine or knowingly receiving a magazine as a loan or gift from another while the actor is prohibited from possessing under state or federal law the type of firearm for which the magazine is designed or made.
The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state court system.

Local Government Impact
It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
