It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

It is assumed that school districts and open-enrollment charter schools would be required to adopt and implement an attendance policy that adheres to the requirements of the Act; however, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
