SB2237 by LaMantia (Relating to birth records of adopted persons; authorizing a fee.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. According to the Department of State Health Services, the fee currently charged for the issuance of noncertified birth certificates is $10. Based on the agency's estimates, the probable revenue gain would be minimal to the program.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
