A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the issuance of specialty license plates to honor
recipients of certain military awards.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended
by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:
(j) The department shall issue specialty license plates for
recipients of the following military awards that include the name
and emblem of the award:
(1) the Combat Infantryman Badge;
(2) the Combat Action Badge;
(3) the Combat Medical Badge;
(4) the Combat Action Ribbon; and
(5) the Air Force Combat Action Medal.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
