A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to advertising or other information regarding licensed
  bail bond sureties posted in secure correctional facilities.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subchapter C, Chapter 1704, Occupations Code, is
  amended by adding Section 1704.106 to read as follows:
         Sec. 1704.106.  ADVERTISING BY LICENSED BAIL BOND SURETY.  A
  secure correctional facility, as defined by Section 1.07, Penal
  Code, may post in the facility an advertisement or other
  information regarding a bail bond surety or an agent of a corporate
  surety licensed in the county where the facility is located.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
