| relating to an appropriation for the construction of the Juneteenth | ||
| Museum in Fort Worth. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION TO TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION. | ||
| The amount of $14,000,000 is appropriated from the general revenue | ||
| fund to the Texas Historical Commission for use during the state | ||
| fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2025, for the construction of the | ||
| Juneteenth Museum in Fort Worth. | ||
| SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect | ||
| immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members | ||
| elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas | ||
| Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for | ||
| immediate effect, this Act takes effect on the 91st day after the | ||
| last day of the legislative session. | ||
