| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 37, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Section 37.012 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 37.012. SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY NOT WAIVED. This chapter | ||
| does not waive sovereign immunity. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
