A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to the authority of a county clerk to charge a reasonable
  fee for services for which a fee is not otherwise prescribed.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 118.011(c), Local Government Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (c)  The clerk shall charge a ten dollar fee for performing
  other duties [prescribed or authorized by statute
  ] for which a fee
  is not prescribed by this subchapter.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
