A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to a rodeo hosted by the Texas Department of Criminal
  Justice; authorizing a fee.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Chapter 493, Government Code, is amended by
  adding Section 493.032 to read as follows:
         Sec. 493.032.  DEPARTMENT RODEO.  (a)  The department may
  annually host a rodeo in Huntsville in which inmates participate on
  a voluntary basis.
         (b) The department may charge an admission fee to offset the 
  department's costs in hosting the rodeo.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
