| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 61.051, Education Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (b) to read as follows: | ||
| (b) In measuring the achievement of certificate and degree | ||
| completion goals under the long-range master plan developed by the | ||
| board under Subsection (a-1), the board shall include the number of | ||
| commercial driver's license training program certificates awarded | ||
| by a public junior college. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
