A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to a requirement that the Texas Higher Education
  Coordinating Board include the number of commercial driver's
  license training program certificates awarded by a public junior
  college in measuring the achievement of certificate and degree
  completion goals under the state's master plan for higher
  education.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 61.051, Education Code, is amended by
  adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
         (b)  In measuring the achievement of certificate and degree
  completion goals under the long-range master plan developed by the
  board under Subsection (a-1), the board shall include the number of
  commercial driver's license training program certificates awarded
  by a public junior college.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
