WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the | ||
passing of Adolfo G. Aleman of Dallas on January 31, 2022, at the | ||
age of 75; and | ||
WHEREAS, Adolfo "Kike" Aleman was born in Waco on April 4, | ||
1946, to Juan Francisco Aleman Sr. and Irene Aleman; he grew up with | ||
the companionship of five siblings, David, Juan, Roy, Diana, and | ||
Azalia, and attended Bullard School in Robstown; and | ||
WHEREAS, A skilled dress cutter, Mr. Aleman worked with | ||
Parkland of Dallas Sportswear and went on to establish his own | ||
business, Aleman's Apparel Cutting; he retired in September 2001 | ||
after 38 years in the industry; in his leisure time, he enjoyed | ||
spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite football | ||
and soccer teams; throughout his life, he drew strength from his | ||
Christian faith; and | ||
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Aleman benefited from the | ||
love and support of his wife, Juanita, with whom he shared a | ||
rewarding marriage that spanned more than five decades; he took | ||
great pride in their two children, Frank and Priscilla, and with the | ||
passing years, he had the privilege of seeing his family grow to | ||
include 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and | ||
WHEREAS, Although Adolfo Aleman is greatly missed, he has | ||
left his loved ones with a wealth of memories that they will forever | ||
treasure; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Adolfo G. Aleman and | ||
extend heartfelt condolences to the members of his family: to his | ||
wife, Juanita Aleman; to his son, Frank Aleman; to his daughter, | ||
Priscilla Garcia; to his grandchildren, Jennifer Aleman, Nicole | ||
Aleman, Alexandra Aleman, Crystal Garcia, Leanna Barrera, Vincent | ||
Espinoza, and Issac Garcia; to his great-grandchildren; to his | ||
brothers, David Aleman, Juan Francisco Aleman Jr., and Roy Aleman; | ||
to his sisters, Diana Malone and Azalia G. Aleman; and to his many | ||
other relatives and friends; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Adolfo | ||
Aleman. | ||
