WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and | ||
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends | ||
of Reynaldo Molina III of La Casita, who passed away on August 4, | ||
2018, at the age of 29; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Reynaldo Molina Jr. and Esenia Bazan, | ||
"Rey Rey" Molina was born on May 20, 1989; he graduated from Rio | ||
Grande City High School in 2007; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Molina received his peace officer license from | ||
the Laredo College Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 2010; he | ||
went on to earn an associate's degree in criminal justice from South | ||
Texas College in 2015 and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice | ||
from Lamar University in 2017, and he distinguished himself in his | ||
work as an investigator for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Mr. Molina was employed by | ||
Sharyland High School in Mission as a criminal justice teacher; | ||
passionate about education and his career field, he also served as | ||
an adviser for the school's criminal justice club, and he created a | ||
nurturing and supportive learning environment for his students, | ||
inspiring some to continue their studies in criminal justice; a | ||
kind and caring man, he was beloved for his optimism and strength of | ||
character, and he made a lasting difference in his community; and | ||
WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth ended far too | ||
soon, Reynaldo Molina will forever be remembered with great | ||
admiration and affection, and his dedication to his family, his | ||
students, and his fellow educators will continue to serve as an | ||
inspiration to all who knew him; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of | ||
Reynaldo Molina III and extend deepest condolences to the members | ||
of his family: to his mother, Esenia Bazan; to his father, Reynaldo | ||
Molina Jr., and his wife, Nancy Molina; to his sister, Alissa | ||
Molina; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Reynaldo | ||
Molina. | ||
