R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ronnie's BBQ of Johnson City offered up some meaty
  fare for consideration at the State Capitol on May 21, 2013, when it
  was the featured restaurant for "Bar-B-Quesday"; and
         WHEREAS, Hosted on Tuesdays during the 83rd Legislative
  Session by State Representative Jason Isaac, this notable event
  provides a showcase for some of the finest barbecue establishments
  from House District 45; and
         WHEREAS, Owned and operated by Ronnie and Cindy Weiershausen,
  Ronnie's BBQ has been satisfying customers in Johnson City for more
  than 15 years; situated along Highway 281, this popular local
  establishment serves barbecue brisket, sausage, and pork ribs, as
  well as chicken and turkey; delicious sides and desserts further
  round out the menu, providing something to satisfy every palate;
  and
         WHEREAS, Texas barbecue is renowned across the nation and
  around the world, and this proud culinary tradition is maintained
  and enriched by outstanding Central Texas businesses such as
  Ronnie's BBQ; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session,
  hereby commend Ronnie's BBQ for
  its participation in Bar-B-Quesday and extend sincere best wishes
  to Mr. and Mrs. Weiershausen and their staff for continued success;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ronnie's BBQ as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
