R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Stephanie Green has been elected as secretary of the
  board of the Sienna and East Fort Bend Democrats Club; and
         WHEREAS, Established by civic-minded individuals from Sienna
  Plantation, the Sienna and East Fort Bend Democrats Club provides a
  forum where local citizens may address concerns while staying
  informed on the political process; and
         WHEREAS, The organization is committed to advocating for all
  area residents, regardless of party affiliation, and aims to make a
  lasting difference in the community by promoting Democratic Party
  principles of social justice, meeting the needs of all people, and
  acting in the local, state, and national interest; and
         WHEREAS, Through her dedicated work with the Sienna and East
  Fort Bend Democrats, Ms. Green is contributing greatly to the
  group's continued growth and achievements and is setting an
  outstanding example of civic engagement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Stephanie Green on her election as
  secretary of the board of the Sienna and East Fort Bend Democrats
  Club and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Green as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
