R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Reynaldo Alegria has distinguished himself as a
  member of Class VIII of the RGV Leadership program in 2023; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 2014 as an initiative of the Rio
  Grande Valley Partnership, RGV Leadership promotes the importance
  of collaboration and engagement between citizens of Starr, Hidalgo,
  Willacy, and Cameron Counties; and
         WHEREAS, Meeting regularly over the course of a nine-month
  period, program participants cultivate relationships with leaders
  across the four-county region and explore a number of pressing
  issues, including health care, water security, economics, higher
  education, transportation, and infrastructure; and
         WHEREAS, By taking part in this prestigious program, Reynaldo
  Alegria has gained a more comprehensive understanding of the
  challenges and opportunities facing his fellow residents, as well
  as a renewed dedication to civic engagement, and it is a pleasure to
  join in recognizing him for this notable accomplishment; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Reynaldo Alegria on graduating as a
  member of Class VIII of RGV Leadership and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Alegria as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
