WHEREAS, Aaron Peña, principal of Woodway Elementary School | ||
in Waco, has deservedly been named a regional finalist in the | ||
Principal Award category of the 2015 H-E-B Excellence in Education | ||
Awards, and this achievement indeed merits special recognition; and | ||
WHEREAS, In cooperation with the Texas Association of School | ||
Administrators, the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards celebrate | ||
public school professionals whose leadership and commitment | ||
inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and | ||
abilities; a fitting candidate for the 2015 Principal Award, | ||
Mr. Peña received a $1,000 prize and a $2,500 grant for his school | ||
for earning regional finalist honors; and | ||
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time | ||
and talents strengthen the communities in which they live, and it is | ||
a pleasure to recognize Aaron Peña for his dedicated work as an | ||
administrator and his many contributions to his school; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Aaron Peña of Woodway Elementary | ||
School on his selection as a regional finalist for the 2015 H-E-B | ||
Excellence in Education Principal Award and extend to him sincere | ||
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
