WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories | ||
of Robert Eugene Dismang, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the | ||
age of 76; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Basil and Gladys Dismang, Bob Dismang was | ||
born on September 13, 1943, in Lebanon, Missouri; and | ||
WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Dismang | ||
served as an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force; he also | ||
enjoyed a career as a truck driver that spanned more than three and | ||
a half decades; and | ||
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Dismang benefited from the | ||
love and support of his wife, Connie, with whom he shared a | ||
rewarding marriage that spanned 54 years; he was the proud father of | ||
five children, Dora, William, Calvin, Aldon, and Allen, and with | ||
the passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to | ||
include 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and | ||
WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Bob Dismang | ||
leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far | ||
richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured | ||
place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Eugene Dismang | ||
and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be | ||
it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bob | ||
Dismang. | ||
