| WHEREAS, Kruti Bhakta graduated as salutatorian of the 2013 | ||
| senior class at Freer High School, and for achieving this | ||
| significant honor, she indeed merits special recognition; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; the student who garners this coveted | ||
| distinction must demonstrate a thorough understanding of a wide | ||
| range of subjects, yet the rewards of the countless hours of study | ||
| and preparation are myriad; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to excelling in her schoolwork, Ms. | ||
| Bhakta has generously volunteered her time in support of the | ||
| National Night Out event, a local fall festival, and various | ||
| activities at First Baptist Church; looking ahead to college, she | ||
| plans to attend Texas State University--San Marcos to earn a degree | ||
| in nursing; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Kruti Bhakta has | ||
| earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at | ||
| Freer High, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and | ||
| commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless | ||
| opportunities for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be | ||
| it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Kruti Bhakta, | ||
| salutatorian of the Freer High School Class of 2013, and extend to | ||
| her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next | ||
| exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Bhakta as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
