R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Martha Rochford of El Paso has been selected as one
  of the 2013 Women of Distinction by the Texas Association of Mexican
  American Chambers of Commerce; and
         WHEREAS, Now in its second year, the TAMACC Women of
  Distinction awards program recognizes Latinas across the state for
  their outstanding professional accomplishments and civic
  contributions; and
         WHEREAS, An El Paso native with more than 25 years of
  commercial banking experience, Ms. Rochford is the area business
  banking manager for Wells Fargo; she joined the company in 2008 and
  now oversees the Border Business Banking team, which serves
  customers from Yuma, Arizona, to Brownsville; previously, she was
  an executive director for the International Trade group at JPMorgan
  Chase, and she worked for Coopers & Lybrand after beginning her
  career with MBank; and
         WHEREAS, This dynamic Texan holds both a bachelor's degree in
  accounting and a master's degree in international management;
  dedicated to her community, she serves on the boards of Project
  ARRIBA and the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; she is also a
  member of the Borderplex Alliance; and
         WHEREAS, Martha Rochford has won the high regard of
  innumerable people through her achievements in her field and her
  civic leadership, and she is indeed deserving of this prestigious
  accolade; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Martha
  Rochford on her selection as one of the 2013 Women of Distinction by
  the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Rochford as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
