| WHEREAS, A rich and purposeful life drew to a close with the | ||
| passing of Cissi Scott of Rockwall on August 18, 2020, at the age of | ||
| 69; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The former Cissi Lynch was born in Conroe to James | ||
| Henry Lynch and Billie Jean Lynch on February 2, 1951, and she grew | ||
| up sharing in the companionship of a brother, Jimmy; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In the course of a 42-year career in real estate, | ||
| Ms. Scott spent three decades working for Regal Realtors in | ||
| Rockwall; she was also a valued member of First United Methodist | ||
| Church in Rockwall; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to her family, Ms. Scott took great | ||
| pride in her daughter, Jenni, and sons, Max and Jake, and with the | ||
| passing years, she was further blessed with seven grandchildren; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in this treasured | ||
| woman's love and friendship will always remember her with great | ||
| admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Cissi Scott and extend | ||
| sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her children, | ||
| Jenni Knox and her husband, Chris, Max Scott and his wife, Kristi, | ||
| and Jake Scott and his wife, Lindsay; to her grandchildren, Ruby, | ||
| William, Evie, Hudson, Heidi, Luke, and Halley; to her brother, | ||
| Jimmy Lynch; and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Cissi | ||
| Scott. | ||
