| WHEREAS, Elena Erives Acosta has earned great distinction | ||
| with her outstanding service as principal of Horizon High School in | ||
| the Clint Independent School District; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the | ||
| students, faculty, and staff of Horizon High School, Ms. Acosta has | ||
| led the way in fostering a supportive and challenging educational | ||
| environment on campus; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing | ||
| vitality of our state, and Elena Erives Acosta is playing an | ||
| instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential | ||
| and become engaged and productive members of their community; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Elena Erives Acosta for her | ||
| contributions as principal of Horizon High School and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Acosta as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
