R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Hardin-Jefferson High School junior Jamerson
  Roberts has been named a Wendy's 12Star Athlete of the Week by
  KBMT-TV; and
         WHEREAS, A forward on the Hawks basketball team, Mr. Roberts
  earned this notable honor for his outstanding play in a 65-53
  victory against Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School on
  February 10, 2015; that contest proved to be his last of the season,
  as he suffered a collapsed lung following the game, which will keep
  him off the court until his senior year; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Roberts has been an integral part of the Hawks
  roster throughout the 2014-2015 campaign, helping the team compile
  an impressive record of 17 wins and 6 losses and become district
  cochampions; and
         WHEREAS, This young athlete's skill and determination are an
  inspiration to his teammates, his coaches, and his fellow students,
  and he may take justifiable pride in his accomplishments; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Jamerson Roberts on his selection
  as a Wendy's 12Star Athlete of the Week by KBMT-TV and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for a speedy recovery and continued success;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Roberts as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
