SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 211
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Philip Dale Reich
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of Bishop in mourning the loss of Philip Dale Reich, who
  died January 4, 2011, at the age of 47; and
         WHEREAS, A deputy with the Nueces County Sheriff's
  Department, Philip Dale Reich was an exemplary citizen and law
  enforcement officer who was widely respected in the community for
  his many achievements; and
         WHEREAS, Born May 2, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Reich
  was a 1998 graduate of the Weatherford College Law Enforcement
  Academy; he served with the Hood County Sheriff's Department
  prior to his service in Nueces County; and
         WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
  gave unselfishly to others, and his professionalism and his
  dedication to public service will not be forgotten; and
         WHEREAS, He was a devoted son, husband, father, and
  brother, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
  forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Philip Dale Reich: his wife of 21 years, Lisa Reich;
  his daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Rob Walker and Brandee Reich; 
  his sons, Andrew Reich and Raymond Reich; his father, Raymond Reich;
  his sisters, Janet and Nancy; and his brother, Jonathan; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate,
  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
  Philip Dale Reich.
