| John Francis Anthony Carnesi | ||
| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and | ||
| commemorates the life of John Francis Anthony Carnesi, who died | ||
| February 20, 2013, at the age of 55; and | ||
| WHEREAS, John Carnesi was an exemplary citizen who was | ||
| widely admired in his community for his many achievements; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was known for his multiple talents and his | ||
| ability to repair or build almost anything; whether it was | ||
| carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or painting that was | ||
| needed, he gave willingly of his time to help his friends and | ||
| family with their projects; and | ||
| WHEREAS, His appreciation for music played a large role in | ||
| his life, and he was an accomplished guitarist; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A devout Catholic who practiced his faith in his | ||
| daily life, he was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Church in | ||
| Brownsville; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he | ||
| gave generously to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued | ||
| counsel will not be forgotten; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was devoted to his children and to his large | ||
| and loving extended family, and he leaves behind memories that | ||
| will be cherished forever by his family and many friends; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere | ||
| condolences to the bereaved family of John Francis Anthony | ||
| Carnesi; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas | ||
| Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in | ||
| memory of John Carnesi. | ||
