A BILL to amend and reenact §64-10-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Department of Economic Development to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the operation of motorsports complexes and events.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

 

ARTICLE 10. Authorization for Department of commerce to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-10-1. West Virginia Department of Economic Development.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 28, 2023, authorized under the authority of §20-19-7 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Department of Economic Development to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 13, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Department of Economic Development (rule governing the operation of motorsports complexes and events, 145 CSR 19), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Department of Economic Development to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the operation of motorsports complexes and events.
