amending title 20, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-826.05; amending title 20, chapter 4, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-1057.20; amending title 20, chapter 6, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-1342.08; amending title 20, chapter 6, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-1404.06; amending title 20, chapter 13, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-2333; amending title 32, chapter 18, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-1979.04; relating to health insurance.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 20, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-826.05, to read:

START_STATUTE20-826.05. Epinephrine auto-injectors; insurance coverage

A hospital service corporation or medical service corporation that issues, amends, delivers or renews a subscription contract on or after January 1, 2025 must pay for an epinephrine auto-injector prescription in an amount of not more than $30 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the subscriber's prescription. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2. Title 20, chapter 4, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-1057.20, to read:

START_STATUTE20-1057.20. Epinephrine auto-injectors; insurance coverage

A health care services organization that issues, amends, delivers or renews an evidence of coverage on or after January 1, 2025 must pay for an epinephrine auto-injector prescription in an amount of not more than $30 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the enrollee's prescription. END_STATUTE

Sec. 3. Title 20, chapter 6, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-1342.08, to read:

START_STATUTE20-1342.08. Epinephrine auto-injectors; insurance coverage

A disability insurer that issues, amends, delivers or renews a policy on or after January 1, 2025 must pay for an epinephrine auto-injector prescription in an amount of not more than $30 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the insured's PRESCRIPTION. END_STATUTE

Sec. 4. Title 20, chapter 6, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-1404.06, to read:

START_STATUTE20-1404.06. Epinephrine auto-injectors; insurance coverage

A group or blanket disability insurer that issues, amends, delivers or renews a policy on or after January 1, 2025 must pay for an epinephrine auto-injector prescription in an amount of not more than $30 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the insured's prescription. END_STATUTE

Sec. 5. Title 20, chapter 13, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-2333, to read:

START_STATUTE20-2333. Epinephrine auto-injectors; insurance coverage

An accountable health plan that provides a contract to a member or an enrollee on or after January 1, 2025 must pay for an epinephrine auto-injector prescription in an amount of not more than $30 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the member's or enrollee's prescription. Sec. 6. Title 32, chapter 18, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1979.04, to read:

START_STATUTE32-1979.04. Epinephrine auto-injectors; out-of-pocket cost

A pharmacist who is licensed pursuant to this chapter shall provide epinephrine auto-injectors to an individual without health insurance at not more than $30 for a thirty-day supply, regardless of the amount or type of epinephrine auto-injector required to fill the individual's prescription.
