AN ACT
amending section 32-1324, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to funeral directors and embalmers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 32-1324, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
32-1324. Apprentice embalmers
A person who is registered as an apprentice embalmer on or before the effective date of this article May 7, 1998 shall meet the qualifications and requirements for licensure as an intern, embalmer or funeral director or for registration as an embalmer's assistant on or before July 31, 2002. Apprentice embalmer registrations issued by the board are void after July 31, 2002.
