AN ACT

 

Making an appropriation to the building renewal fund to maintain existing school facilities.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; building renewal fund; exemption

A.  The sum of $100,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2012-2013 to the building renewal fund established by section 15‑2031, Arizona Revised Statutes, for the purpose of maintaining the adequacy of existing school facilities.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
