on the death of earl h. moser.

Earl H. Moser died on July 12, 2011 at the age of seventy.

Earl H. Moser was born in Florence, Arizona on June 27, 1941 and was a lifelong Arizonan.  After graduating from Willcox High School in 1960, he remained in the Willcox area where he owned and operated many farms.  He became owner and broker of Hidalgo Realty when his father-in-law, Johnny Hidalgo, passed away in 1986.  He changed the business name to Willcox Real Estate Company, which proved to be a good move with the coming of the computer "search."  Earl's passion was farming, however, and he was very successful in operating and selling farms.  An FFA American Farmer, he remained active with farming until the time of his death.

Earl Moser was a leader in numerous civic, farming and charitable organizations.  His Rotary Club experiences began when he traveled to India as a member of the Rotary Group Exchange Team from southern Arizona in 1976. Among his many accomplishments, he served as president of the Willcox Rotary Club, assistant governor of Rotary International District 5500 and member of the Arizona and Cochise County Farm Bureaus, for which he was awarded the Bureau's 2010 Heritage Award.  Earl Moser was also an active and dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Earl Moser was an avid supporter of young people as he attended the local high school sports events and sponsored at least 100 league teams in Willcox over the years.  He carefully and purposefully selected many deserving 4-H and FFA animal projects to purchase at auction at the Cochise County Fair, and he anonymously supported numerous youth on church missions.

A loving and devoted husband and father, Earl Moser will be greatly missed by his wife of nearly fifty years, Linda, his children, Peggy, Dean, Patti, Cathy, Cindy and David, his thirty-four grandchildren, his seven great-grandchildren, and his surviving sisters and brother.

Therefore

Be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Arizona:

That the Members of the Legislature express regret at the passing of Earl H. Moser and extend their deepest condolences to his family and many friends.
