   An act to amend Section 14000 of the Financial Code, relating to
credit unions.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1876, as introduced, Achadjian. Credit unions.
   Existing law provides for the organization and regulation of
credit unions by the Department of Financial Institutions. Existing
law entitles those provisions the California Credit Union Law.
   This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that
title.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 14000 of the Financial Code is amended to read:

   14000.  This division shall be known as the  "California
  California  Credit Union  Law."
