An act to add Section 5097.100 to the Public Resources Code, relating to Native American resource protection.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 275, as introduced, Ramos. Native American cultural preservation.
Existing law establishes the Native American Heritage Commission and vests the commission with specified powers and duties.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to implement updated policies on Native American cultural preservation.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 5097.100 is added to the Public Resources Code, to read:

5097.100.
 It is the intent of the Legislature to implement updated policies on Native American cultural preservation.
