   An act to amend Section 72 of the Labor Code, relating to
employment.



	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 872, as introduced, Jones. Employment: compensation.
   Existing law provides for members of the Industrial Welfare
Commission to receive specified compensation for their official
activities.
   This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 72 of the Labor Code is amended to read:
   72.  The members of the commission shall receive one hundred
dollars ($100) for each  day's   day of 
actual attendance at meetings and other official business of the
commission and shall receive their actual and necessary expenses
incurred in the performance of their duties.
